What Doctors Don't Tell You: Hair loss:

What Doctors Don't Tell You

Some suggestions, at
last, for the poor man who lost all his body hair after several serious illnesses as a child. First off, a few words of comfort from a few women readers, who find the idea of a bald man very attractive! (Probably we should pass on their e-mail addresses, but there are at least 15 laws that prevent us doing this). If those words of comfort don't do the trick, try the herb Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica), which can grow back hair, and replace grey hair with black, according to one reader who's tried it on a few patients. Another reader has prepared his own remedy, made up of rosemary, bay and cedarwood, to stimulate hair growth and lavender, sage and thyme for hair loss. He's also added a range of herbs for mental fatigue, anxiety and depression, which he believes all contribute to hair loss. He's used the concoction for a year, and he's seen a great deal of new hair growth even if the rosemary makes him smell like a roast turkey! Another reader suggests Neways' Second Chance shampoo and conditioner.
