My sister recently died of ‘lower-grade lymphoma’ within six months of being diagnosed (age 84). Remarkably, she had never consulted a doctor in her lifetime. Her medical file was untouched - much to the surprise of the nurse. The specialist suggested radium therapy, which my sister refused.

You did mention that cancer could be self-healing (WDDTY vol 13 no 8, Viewpoint), but this was not the case. Why?

I have forwarded the issue of WDDTY to my friend in South Africa, recently devastated with news of his wife’s (aged 70) pronounced cancer of the stomach. The doctor has not indicated any term of demise, but I have heard directly from the wife that she is free of pain, quite happy and active.
